The trends were relatively consistent, but showed some highly-contested categories switching between age groups. Regardless, the gaming industry has been doing incredibly well in an otherwise dwindling economy. Similar reports for the early periods of 2009 will be available soon, and it will be interesting to see how the reports change within the next few months with new and exciting games anticipated for each console.
